WEEKLY PLAY

Our lawns are open every day from 10 am until 8 pm during the summer months (April to October) – this is weather dependent.  There is a lawn booking system that each member has access to – if you do not have a log-in, please contact the Membership Secretary.  The lawn booking system allows games to be booked on both the East and West Lawns and can be double-banked if necessary.   There are 5 options: Lawn Maintenance, Association, Golf, Short Croquet and Other (for example, private hire).

Monday is reserved from 10 am until 4 pm for Golf Croquet Club Day.   Split into two sessions – morning from 10 am and afternoons from 1 pm.   Members are welcome to stay for both sessions.   The lawns are available to book for individual members after 4 pm. 

Tuesday/Wednesday – lawns available for member booking

Thursday –  lawns are available for member booking.  During the month of August, twilight sessions are held from 6pm to 8pm.  Just roll-up and join a game.  The Sports Club is normally open if you fancy a beverage after the game.

Friday – lawns are available for member booking

Saturday – mornings are available for booking in two hours slots.  On Saturday afternoons we offer a Roll-Up – turn up at 1.15 pm – you are guaranteed a game or two.  Play finishes when everyone goes home.  Occasionally, Roll-Up may change to Sunday afternoons if rain prevents play on Saturdays.

LAWN MAINTENANCE

The lawn maintenance is normally carried out early morning or late afternoons, should there be a need to carry out work during 10 pm til 4pm – it will be shaded out on the booking system as Maintenance. 

CLUB MATCHES

All home club matches will be detailed on the lawn booking system.  The lawns are unavailable on these dates.

ASSOCIATION/SHORT CROQUET

There are currently no allocated days for Association Croquet.  It is envisaged that Short Croquet will be played from the 2025 season and allocated a day for play.   This will take place on one lawn.

Visitors

Members may book a lawn to give a prospective member a taster session or to bring guests up to play.  There is a fee applicable for non-members.
